We want our lessons and workshops to be fun and provide you with the best possible experience, so when joining any of our courses it is a good idea to check the following terms and conditions. By booking any of our courses, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions.

Vouchers

All vouchers are dated and expire 12 months from the date of issue

All experiences must be booked within 12 months of purchase

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash

Vouchers are non-exchangeable or refundable
Health and safety
You will receive a short briefing on health and safety at the start of your session.
Pottery can be a messy business, we will supply you with an apron and other protective equipment where appropriate but please wear clothes you won’t mind getting splattered with clay. We are not liable to any damage that occurs to clothing.
No loose jewellery please and long hair to be tied back.

Your creations
We want you to be happy with the ceramics that you produce at your experience so every care is taken to avoid any issues during firing.
However, unfortunately despite our efforts, clay will be clay and we cannot control everything that goes on in the kiln. Cracks and defects are unfortunately only too common, but part of the making process.

We aim to glaze, fire and return your ceramics to you in 3 to 4 weeks. Occasionally this can take longer due firing schedules and unforeseen circumstances.

Booking
Full payment is required at the time of booking. You will receive an email confirmation and we’ll email you again nearer to the start date to finalise details. You can email us at any time (claire.sporton@icloud.com) to discuss requirements and we’ll be happy to help.
Cancellations
We’re a small business with limited resource so we ask that you please consider your experience booking carefully before purchasing. However sometimes life is not simple and we understand you may need to rearrange. We are happy to change your booked session or experience to a later date, if we’re notified one week in advance. Please notify us by email (claire.sporton@icloud.com).

Refunds
If you qualify for a refund you are able to request one. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process. Unfortunately we are unable to refund for courses booked using gift vouchers but we can hold it on account for up to 6 months.
Non-attendance
Refunds will not be given to any bookings not attended without prior cancellation.
Cancellations by claire sporton ceramics
In the event that claire sporton ceramics cancels a course, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund of payment already received. We will give as much notice as possible and will notify you using the details given at the time of booking so please make sure they are correct.
Liability
claire sporton ceramics does not accept any liability for lost or damaged possessions and will not be liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any event which is beyond the reasonable control of claire sporton ceramics.
