Service Description
The Great Pottery Throwdown makes it look easy right? Well get ready for the reality. Join Claire in her Tunbridge Wells studio for a relaxed, hands-on session where you’ll get to experience the full throwing process — from wedging and centring your clay to pulling, shaping, and creating something truly yours. This is a two-hour, one-to-one experience, so it’s all about you — your pace, your style, your mess! You’ll have full use of the wheel, all materials provided, and plenty of guidance (and encouragement) along the way. After your session, you can choose to: - Return for a trimming session to refine your pieces yourself (1 hour - £30) - Leave them in our capable hands We will then glaze and fire up to three of your creations, so you will have lasting proof of your pottery skills. Just let us know and we will sign you up for the next series of the Throwdown. Come and get your hands muddy. Creativity, laughter, and a proper sense of achievement guaranteed.
